Mark Willow is a sex loving gay man who has to take care of his much younger brother. While running away from the law, they find themselves a hotel. When Mark decides to steal from them, the hotel reveals itself to be a pack full of werewolves. Now that he's one of them, he has to work at a BDSM dungeon, as well as focus on two lovers who don't know about his fear of being bound. But is the person who attacked him still out there? And worse, will he strike again?
“You were the one who did it.”
He continued to growl, though his eyes softened ever so slightly. Confusion filled his canine features. His ears twitched, I guess to show that he was listening. I went on to explain.
“You were the one who attacked our car.”
“What are you going on about?” he sneered, “Roy was the one that Esprit sent after you.”
It all came crashing down. Roy had been telling the truth!
“I saw Roy’s wolf form. He wasn’t the one who tackled us to the ground. It was you,” my heart pounded. It was all falling into place, “And don’t tell me it wasn’t. You were the one who got us out of there, which means—“

Thank you Noah for another really good read. Marcus and Miles are typical brothers, but placed in a situation that places unfamiliar stresses on their otherwise healthy relationship. Noah didn't hesitate to show the effect that these circumstances had on the brothers and how they interacted with each other, even when the result is less than savory. He showed how real people could have bad thoughts and feelings towards someone they love and cherish (as most of us have but won't admit) and still strive to have a close relationship. I did want to pinch each of them at times but they are still young and need time to grow. Hopefully there will be a sequel to flesh out their characters and give more depth to Marcus than was in this book. The backstory on the packs and hunters was a little light but, once more, a sequel (or maybe a short prequel) could clear up any questions or holes in the storyline. I would have liked someone to explain more to Marcus about the changes to his body after being bitten. They kinda left him mostly clueless about it all.
I didn't like the twins at all from the 1st time they were introduced. I don't know whether or not the author intended that reaction that close to the beginning but he sure got it from me. The creep factor was really high. I hated for Marcus to do the things with them that he did. While the spicy scenes were good, I couldn't get past the twins' strange behavior.
I did like Don. He was a good guy. A bit crotchety and anal, but a good guy nonetheless.
All in all I really enjoyed Masterful Surrender and recommend it to others.

Masterful Surrender edition by Noah Harris Romance eBooks Reviews
great read
I found this book different than most and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think my only criticism would be I wanted it to be longer .
Wow really good storyline and lots of love to go around. The twins are weird in this and was trying to hurt him. He found a savior in his love interest.
New York author Noah Harris is a 28-year-old bisexual man currently single and living in a small apartment in New York City. Though somewhat shy he is a humanitarian who sees the world in which we live as a community bonded in a natural approach to our feelings and ourselves and our interaction with others. His bisexual nature allows him to create well rounded characters – most all of his novels are M/M romances but they are much more than the usual erotica we encounter in film, television, and social media. Noah explores the boundaries of types and wields a strong brush as he paints his fascinating people.
Noah knows his way around setting an atmosphere for a story, even one that is going to have a lot of twist and surprises, as is evident in the opening of this novel – ‘“Where are we, Marcus?” Miles asked me. Our family’s old convertible Mustang had become our second home these past few days. And that particular question had been the kid’s inquiry of choice since we began this trip. Miles stared out the window in wonder, looking out as we climbed higher in elevation. Trees were the only things surrounding us. There was no hint of civilization anywhere. I wasn’t exactly sure where we were, but I knew that we had to be somewhere in the mountains of California. Definitely a long way from home. Money was getting hard to come by, even by stealing it. Fortunately, I had found a way to save money by getting free meals from men. Well, maybe it wasn’t exactly ‘free,’ but they did give me enjoyable work for it. Even at the ripe age of twenty, I would consider myself relatively experience when it came to sex. My condoms and lubricants rested in the bag in the back of the car, hidden from my curious brother’s eyes. They were stored safely with the first aid kit that I had grown to love, as well as our extra blankets and countless bottles of painkillers. One could never be too safe with a kid in the car. I always let Miles stay in the hotel while I went to get some free meals. Sometimes the guys were nice enough to pay for food for Miles too. I usually had a good idea who was gay and who wasn’t. Sure, I messed up several times and ended up flirting with a straight man, but that usually only resulted in either an odd look or a bashful declination.’
This solid foundation for a story is one of Noah’s gifts as a writer. The story is that will develop into shapeshifting, paranormal, werewolf themes and many times that gets in the way of solid writing. Not so with Noah. His synopsis is brief but salient ‘is a short story and is best outlined by Noah’s synopsis ‘Mark Willow is a sex loving gay man who has to take care of his much younger brother. There is always a sense of rightness about Noah’s books and this one holds that line – weird story, lots of very steamy erotica, and some secondary interpersonal philosophy that keeps it afloat. Noah Harris is always on! Grady Harp, October 16
The title made no sense...there was no master and the main character, Mark certainly did not "surrender." For anyone who reads this type of book would know that it made no sense at all. Mark, 20 is a newly turned "werewolf" and is a "omega" He is the lowest of the low in the werewolf hierarchy yet the author never shows Mark as truly submissive, even when reference is made the Mark is in "heat" nothing happens with the "alpha" werewolf's in his pack. There is only one reference the Mark being able to become pregnant and bear children at the beginning of the book and that's it. BUT my biggest problem with this book is the author, Noah Harris using it as a means to lecture the reader about "safe sex." This is the last thing I want to read in a erotic fantasy! We are supposed to believe that Mark, 20 who admits to being addicted to sex would not use a dildo unless it was brand new still in the package and then still insist on a condom be put on it before using all while having a three-way with twin "alpha" werewolf's who carry they own condoms...anyone know's that werewolf's can't get STD's, BUT the author wants us to believe that it OK for Mark to bite his 9 year old brother on the neck, drawing blood to turn him into a werewolf to bring him out of a coma...huh? And the ending was just stupid, when Mark realizes that another werewolf is his mate, the ALPHA, Don just says "I like to have sex too," that's it! No passion, no surrender.
